With speculation running wild that Natasha Liu Bordizzo could be introduced as Sabine Wren in the new season before she gets the spotlight in Ahsoka, what if they decided to announce this to the world during Celebration, and even screen that episode for the people there? Obviously, this is very dangerous in terms of leaks, which Lucasfilm could also circle around by dropping the episode on Disney Plus immediately afterwards. And interestingly enough, the seventh episode is reportedly co-written by Dave Filoni, which at this point we know is a synonym to Lucasfilm announcing we should expect Clone Wars or Rebels cameos into live-action. Letting the speculation run wild for a moment, the convention will take place between episodes 6 and 7 of The Mandalorian season 3 airing on Disney Plus. He does so by stirring a Separatist movement led by Count Dooku ( Christopher Lee) and his droid army. The next step for Palpatine is to instigate a situation that requires the clone army, under his command, to be authorized for use. The conflict with the Trade Federation in Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace is set up by Palpatine to light a fire of distrust among the Galactic Senate, sowing the seeds that would ultimately bring forth his ascension to Chancellor. A more detailed look reveals just how the pieces all fit together, and how Palpatine, by playing the long game, did so without alerting the Jedi. To look at it simply, it's the long-term plan of Palpatine ( Ian McDiarmid) coming to fruition. What Revenge of the Sith does, first and foremost, is tying the loose ends together and making sense of the choices made in the first two films.
